Lerah is an independent record label which is involved in production, manufacture, distribution, and promotion of music and artists. We are non-genre specific per say, but lean toward rock, pop, R&B, blues, jazz, fusion mostly. We primarily interested in performing artists with original material local to Chicagoland. We have a home based studio in the west burbs of Chicago.

We focus on leveraging newer technologies (recording equipment and techniques, internet distribution and promotions, etc.) to help new artists develop, produce and bring their music to market. We normally don’t charge Artists for services; we run under a profit share model. We are currently a start-up label, and are very flexible related to agreement terms. Good relationships and good music are what’s important. We always seek win-win situations.

First step is to send us a short note, tells us a little about yourself or your band, history, where you would like to go, etc. If you have any MP3s of your music, send them along as attachments as well. (or snail mail a CD if you like). Quantity, quality of recordings does not matter. Also, partial songs, concepts riffs, or jams are fine as well. Just seeking to get a general idea of your current sound.
